Successful Launch of the Philanthropic Development Office

On February 2nd, 2024, the Veritas University Endowment Foundation (VUEF) held the official launch of its Philanthropic Development Office (PDO) at a special event held in the VC’s Conference Room and later the VUEF office Block A15 at Veritas University Abuja. The launch was a resounding success, drawing a strong turnout of university leadership, and community supporters.

The launch event began with welcoming remarks from Fr. Dr. Richard Gokum the Executive Deirctor and CEO, who highlighted the importance of the new PDO in the VUEF’s mission to expand philanthropic support for Veritas University. This was followed by an insightful presentation outlining the office’s key objectives and initiatives, including:
- Strengthening donor relations and cultivating new partnerships
- Developing innovative fundraising programs and campaigns
- Enhancing the university’s ability to secure resources for critical projects and student support

The event featured a virtual engagement with our international partners from Spring Rain Global in the Philippines, alongside testimonials from esteemed Veritas University leaders.
